Shelled hazelnuts
AmaNut Italy shelled hazelnuts come from our orchards in Piedmont and undergo controlled processing and selection procedures. A high-quality, traceable raw material intended for chocolate makers, pastry shops, gelato producers, food manufacturers, artisan workshops and industry professionals.
Selected shelled hazelnuts for professional use
After harvesting, the hazelnuts undergo cleaning and drying, two essential stages for properly preparing and preserving the raw material. They are then shelled using dedicated equipment and carefully selected.
Our goal is to obtain a uniform product that meets the quality standards required by the professional market, while maintaining control over all the main processing stages.
Optical sorting for precise raw material inspection
Sorting is a fundamental step in our production process. That is why we use a state-of-the-art optical sorting machine, capable of analysing each individual hazelnut and identifying potential defects.
This process allows us to remove spoiled, damaged, insect-damaged or otherwise non-compliant nuts, helping us obtain uniform, safe and carefully inspected shelled hazelnuts.
Shelled hazelnuts for pastry, gelato and the food industry
Shelled hazelnuts are a versatile raw material for numerous professional applications and can be used directly or undergo further processing and transformation.
AmaNut Italy supplies pastry shops, gelato producers, artisan workshops, food manufacturers and distributors, offering products from an integrated and controlled supply chain.
From our hazelnut orchards to the shelled product
We oversee our hazelnuts from the cultivation stage. AmaNut Italy manages 154 hectares of hazelnut orchards in Piedmont, growing some of the leading Italian cultivars, including Tonda Gentile delle Langhe, Tonda Giffoni and Tonda Francescana.
Harvesting and the subsequent processing stages are managed internally, allowing us to maintain control over the origin, selection and traceability of our raw materials.
